The Sorcerer

“When the Sorcerer enters your circle, you’re being called to look at how your beliefs around scarcity and self centered fear manifest in your world”. How often do we allow our tendencies for fear and self doubt overshadow opportunities for creation.  As human it is important we honour the connection we have to each other and the beautiful Earth we share. We all have moments of darkness, where we give into hatred or envy or resentment, but allow those moments to be lessons, to help us discover what we need to conquer in order to evolve.

The Beloved

“The Beloved is the recognition of Spirit in another, and moving toward Spirit through the other. It is when the divine appears to us is in the form of our child, our partner, our friend, and we experience being in love. As we grow, we start to recognize the Beloved in everyone, not confusing their personality with their divine nature”

Love is the most powerful vibration there is. Chose Love. Give it freely and accept it gratefully. When we connect with each other through our most divine and purest nature, we create magick. Love is medicine, Love is life, Love is joy, Love is pain. Following the path of love will always lead us in the right direction, when the Love is pure and not ego based.

Card of the Day 06-16-2020 ( LOVE those numbers) Waning Crescent Moon in Taurus 17.9%

Today’s divine message comes from a deck I am absolutely obsessed with and it’s author! This is “Blessed Be” by the amazing Lucy Cavendish. She is a Witch who has inspired my path of light and I can always count on anything she publishes to be full of wisdom! You can find this deck here

A Blessing on your Sleep. What a glorious message. I am often shocked at how many adults struggle with sleep.  I was putting my two little grandchildren to bed the other night and I laughed at their resistance. I said “Don’t worry when your adult you will love to go to bed, in fact you will count the hours until you can!” Ihave also convinced them I am a very magickal Witch and that all magickal people must sleep to refresh their powers, that helps too lol!

Sleep and Dreaming is a very important part of personal and spiritual development. Every aspect of Nature has a rest element to it. Sleep is incredibly healing for our physical selves as well as our emotional selves. Make a good sleep a priority in your life. Have a proper ritual before bed, preferably one that does not involve your phone, set up your bedroom to be a sacred space, use oils or herbs that encourage restful sleeps. I find one of the greatest techniques for a great nights sleep is guided meditations. You can sleep and dream with intention and a guided meditation is an excellent way to lull you into a great sleep where you stay asleep! And Dreaming is a whole other post on it’s own.

Card of the Day June 15th 2020, Waning Crescent Moon in Aries 25.9%

Today’s magickal card comes from the deck “Black Moon Astrology” which you can find in my store! This deck has powerful energy and I am sure you can feel it from this card! You can find this deck here

Staying with the theme of good choices in our behaviours, the Mind card in this deck provides yet another great reminder!

“Mercury, the planet of Intelligence and talking..suggests you must put effort behind your talk… The God Mercury ( The counterpart to Hermes) also have very much to do with magick and medicine, Mercury rules the eyes, brain, nerves and fingers and toes”.

The message of this card, is that you have all the tools to create magick and thus medicine! All within your beautiful body and mind. Chose your words very carefully and the actions behind them even more so. We are co creators of everything in our life, we must be very mindful of what we create! I like the visualization of a Rolodex for my own thoughts and behaviours. When I am in a lower vibrational space, I pay very close attention to the Rolodex of thoughts I am having. When I come across a negative one, I flip to the next, and the next and the next and so on. Until I land on the one that serves me and uplifts my feelings instead of contributing to further low vibes.

Mercury encourages us to use our Mind to create magick, you have complete control over your thoughts and emotions. Make wise choices and find alignment.

Card of the Day June 14th 2020 Waning Crescent Moon in Aries 35%

The Tanaiste is an Irish Authority figure, second only to the King (Modern times President). He is a ruling Authority and the voice of reason. When I pull these cards, my own energy of course influences them, though my intention is for the collective. I am certainly feeling the message in this card within my own household and I am sure it will resonate with many of you.

This card brings the message of compassion. While life goes by we can say or do things to hurt the ones we love. Especially when we are cooped up together for month after month. As humans, we can hold grudges, stew on negative interactions or cycle through slights. Does it EVER serve us though? No, it usually just makes the feelings worse. The Tanaiste encourages Peace and Harmony. The way to that is by letting GO of those icky feelings.

Forgiveness for the ones we love is a crucial part of alignment.  Slights to our characters or behaviours should be released immediately. The serve nothing but contempt.  Forgive and Forget- that is one of the stones on the path to enlightenment.

Today’s card comes from an incredible deck called “Circle of Life Tarot” and can be found here. This deck features circular cards to signify the infinite connection we all share. This card is the SUN card. And comes at a perfect time just a week before the Summer Solstice! The Sun is an incredibly powerful energy, that nourishes our physical, spiritual and emotional selves. Just the thought of the Sun brings us warm feelings and happy memories.

There is an intense power in the Sun that we can harness for our own magick. The dancer in this card holds two Wands and is doing just that – Harnessing the energy! She collects the heat and the creature at her feet appears to do the same. All in an perfect circle, just like the Sun.

This deck gives us wisdom in the form of affirmations or meditations, however you choose to use them The message I asked for today was loud and clear! Crafting. I often marvel at my own hands and the magick that comes from them but it has taken me many years to learn to trust that! Our craft, whatever it may be, our path in life is carved by us. Use the meditation on this card, a gift from the Flower of Life and feel the power you have to craft your own life.

Card of the Day June 11th 2020 Waning Moon in Pisces 63.4%

Today’s card comes from one of my newest obsessions – “Queen of the Moon Oracle”, can find it here.

TRUST, I love that word. It is so powerful and foundational to every relationship in our life, especially the one with ourselves. The Egg Moon was a time for joy and celebration for our ancestors come Spring. It was the reminder that the coldest part of the year ended and the light and warmth were coming to fertilize the earth. It was part of the beautiful relationship of trusting Mother Earth to complete her cycles, this energy brings us the encouragement to trust ourselves. Trust in your power and your talents.  Trust is the most crucial component when working our psychic muscles and fostering our intuition. We must trust ourselves to make magick happen! Self trust is the basis for ALL other trust. As with any loving trait, we must apply to ourselves first before truly giving the same gift to others.

“Self trust is surety that we can rely upon ourselves… That we ourselves matter. That knowing ourselves leads to better, more informed decisions about all aspects of our life… Self trust is FULL ACCEPTANCE of self… This give us great momentum to anything we chose to do.”

Card of the Day June 10th 2020, Waning Moon in Aquarius.

PATIENCE! Lol never has that been my strong suit but I am learning! Today’s card and apt message comes from a fabulous deck new to my collection “Divination of the Ancients”.

Patience, that word that we all struggle with, some worse than others! I have learned many times over that life is all about Divine Timing and there is natural order to the Universe. Waiting is difficult sometimes, especially when were are working on our manifestations! Patience is a necessary step in evolution. It teaches us to wait for the things that matter most to us because that is how life unfolds. This is especially true when working on our own self development!

Patience is a crucial trait for dealing with the stress of the human experience but nothing happens overnight. Like a garden, every seed we plant must be tended to it carefully and then left to nature to finish the rest.

“Yes, you have an important life purpose. Yes, you are naturally gifted. Yes, what you are asking for will be given. But all in good timing…. The Geomancy card asks you to have patience. Like the butterfly, you need to go through various stages before reaching your true potential”.

We do not see everything that happens above us or below us, trust Spirit is working for you!

Card of the Day June 8th 2020 Waning Moon in Aquarius 86.9%

This powerful card comes from one of my favourite decks, Spirit of the Animals Oracle! The Wolf! One of Mother Natures most magickal creatures and a huge part of my own spiritual awakening. The Wolf comes to us today with a few layers of meanings. The first and most apparent is that is the Pathfinder, or the Teacher. The Wolf is revered throughout Indigenous cultures as they teach us about leadership, survival,social structure. They show us how to be cooperative in packs and to lead through example.

The second being the ability to preserver and survive. Using our life lessons along the way to lead our packs and share our knowledge.

The Wolf card calls us to action with these powerful words;

“Release your past and start a new journey. You are a teacher and help others find their way. There will be challenges but your soul is strong. Perseverance is your secret power.

Card of the Day June 7th 2020 Waning Moon in Capricorn

Today’s card comes from one of my regularly used decks, “The Everyday Witches Tarot, which you can find here https://witchhealer.com/oracle-cards/. As always with Spirit, when you ask, you receive an answer.  With the chaos and struggles of the world currently, I sometimes struggle with even knowing what to ask. So for today’s card, I asked simply “What do the Lightworkers and Lightbeings need a reminder of right now?”

The Hanged Man answered.We see in this card, a Witch hanging upside down from their broom. Hands and legs chained up. However if you look closely you see the Witch holds the Key in their hand. The Hanged Man begs the question – Are you feeling stuck? Helpless ? Unsure of where or how to move? That is ok because sometimes it is in the most awkward and uncomfortable places, we find the answers we are searching for. It is important to check within yourself and see if you are feeling stuck due to lack of motivation or in quiet contemplation? If your feelings of being stuck or held back are frustrating you then it is time to approach your situation from a new angle.

Look from a different perspective for a better view. “Where in your life are you stuck? Try looking at the situation from a new angle or with a better attitude. You can do something to get yourself unstuck or  simply accept that are stuck right now and see if there are any benefits to hanging around for a while”

Always remember though – Only you hold the key to the chains that bind you.
