Card of the Day April 23rd 2020

It is a special day in our house – Clintmas Eve as well it. It is the night before Clintmas, also know as my partner Clint’s birthday! In his honour I picked the “Dragon Oracle” deck for today’s card!

Source Dragon is the last card in this deck. Source Dragons are the 12th dimensional being that is the centre of the universe where there is an infinite stillness and love. Source Dragon comes  to you today to help you remember to breathe.

Breathe.

That beautiful, magickal prana. I encourage everyone to develop a regular meditation practice but remember anywhere and anytime you always have breath. If you find yourself feeling a little out of touch or ungrounded, breathe deeply and take in your surroundings to ground yourself. I find this practice is a great antidote to panic or anxiety. I will plant my feet firmly on the ground and take a deep breath, or many, and sit in silence taking in all my surroundings. This helps to find my centre again. That is beauty of meditation – the much needed reset.

A key component of meditation is presence. The ability to be wholly and fully in the moment. With our current situation of not knowing what tomorrow brings – Presence is a necessary skill for coping. Source Dragon reminds us;

” Be diligent, calm and focused and remember to breathe deeply.  Breath is the key to being in the moment and this is where the greatest magick happens… Always remember your present moment creates your future”.

Card of the Day April 22nd 2020

Card of the Day April 22nd 2020 New Moon in Taurus – New Moon Ritual Video will be up April 23rd!

Happy New Moon and Happy Earth Day! I love Spring,the sun is shining again and I even saw a fat, cute little bee today! This beautiful card comes from the deck “Universal Wisdom”.  A beautiful and inspiring deck! Earth Song – is a card I chose for today. In light of it being Earth Day, I think it is the perfect time for everyone to reflect on their relationship with Gaia – or Mother Earth.  How do we treat this beautiful Earth we live on?

I think of my own relationship with her and since my spiritual awakening, I have been so aware of how she is treated and my part in that. As a Witch, one of my fundamental beliefs is to protect and advocate for Mother Earth and her inhabitants. It is my duty, as a way to serve the Divine, to contribute to the health and healing of Earth.  We are deeply connected to her and yet, do we honour her? It is the little things we can do to help Mother Earth heal.  Don’t leave garbage on the ground is a pretty intro level standard for humans but how many of us throw trash on the ground without a second thought?

“The Earth breathes and feels just like you. At times she sings for joy, at times she cries. She is a reflection of humanity She is one with you. She is a conscious entity.  Your love will help her regain her balance. Feel and accept her love for it will nourish your soul. Invoke this great healing power and your life will take on a new meaning”.

There is much healing and power to be found in nature. Consider your personal contributions to Mother Earth. We use her resources everyday day, what are we giving back? `

Planting flowers, plants or trees is a wonderful way to show your love and contribute to her health. Planting a vegetable garden helps nourish ourselves and Mother Earth, plant flowers for the bees, pick up a piece of garbage when you see it, waste less, walk or bike more, reuse! These small things can be wonderful contributions to our beautiful Mother Earth.

Card of the Day April 21st 2020

Card of the Day April 21st 2020 Moon in Aries – 1.5% Woo feel that New Moon Energy! Check back here tomorrow for a video post of my New Moon Ritual!

Witches Wisdom Oracle deck is an magickal deck that speaks right to the soul! Every card I have pulled from this deck feels like an Ancient Witch Ancestor whispering in my ear.

The Yule- REBIRTH card is no different! While the image is of a Yule scene featuring a snowy landscape the card is about Rebirth and the energy of that. Spring has taken some time to arrive here in Edmonton, Canada and with the emergence of the sun and warm weather, Rebirth is in the air. Yule is the Sabbat that celebrates the ending of a season and the return of the Sun. That is exactly the energy I am feeling.

The Sun has returned and all though we are relegated to our homes right now, it is time to go into the light! Rebirth can come in many forms from news job, to new self awareness and everything in between. Spirit brings this card to the collective today to say – Make Your Ascent!

“Your past is truly behind you. The difficulties you’ve endured have made you stronger and wiser. A new way of life beckons. Shine your light brightly. Your wishes and dreams are coming true”.

After more than a week of pulling daily cards- the theme of every card has been consistent with the energy I am feeling- We are going through a trial. All our past (present )  suffering has brought about resilience and strength. It is time to evolve. The process of Rebirth is a not easy or pain free but is anything that is worth it? Rebirth is about finding your true self, your alignment with your highest self.  Take advantage of this trial period to really dig deep into – Who you are ? What do you want? How do you get it? Why do you need it? Now is the time to claim it!

I will be posting a video later tonight on my New Moon Ritual and how you can utilize the energy of the New Moon to manifest what you desire in life.

Take this cycle of the New Moon and utilize it to manifest your own Rebirth.

Stay Strong <3

Card of the Day – April 10 2020

The Rattle

April 10th, 2020 – Waning Moon in Scorpio ( 87%)

This card jumped out of the deck when shuffling, telling me that this was the message for the collective today.

“The Rattle is the Spirit Caller, carrying the Shaman’s prayer to the four directions… The Rattle guides us to pray for all the Earth, not just for our personal needs. When we offer our prayers for the highest good of all, everything we need is provided for us”.

Beautifully written words from the magickal deck by Collette Baron -Reid, The Mystical Shaman Oracle.

This card is a divine reminder that we are all in this together. In uncertain times, the human experience tends to direct us towards self centered thoughts and actions.  As we have seen unfortunately in recent events with hoarding, not everyone is thinking of the greater good. This can be taxing on sensitive souls.  Right now, more than ever we must shine our light brighter and put forth actions to serve our divine purposes.

For those of us who live in service the best thing we can do in these trying times is just that – service. Offer what you can to people around you even if all you have to offer is a smile. We must show the collective how the  light we have work so hard to uphold, is needed to heal the world – together. If this pandemic has shown us anything, it is how closely we are connected. Just as quick as viruses spread, so can love and kindness.

If you are feeling overwhelmed (Empaths I am talking to you especially) an act of service to others will immediately uplift your own spirit. There are two quick routes to happiness- Gratitude and Service- these two things are always accessible and free! Use them to help with your own healing journey as well as others. Remember;

“When we offer our prayers for the highest good of all, everything we need is provided for us”. An act of service for one is an act of service for all.

In Service and Gratitude ~
