Card of the Day April 25th 2020 Waxing Moon 8.9% in Gemini
This gorgeous card comes from one of my first and favourite decks- Goddess Guidance Oracle. I love this message and it is one that has been coming for me a lot! It took me a lot of years to realize I am kind of a control freak. I want what I want, when I want it and how I want it. This sort of worked for a while until my children became teenagers.
I had to choose to release some control/force or be constantly nagging them. If you find you can relate- trust me on this- Surrender. Put down your battle flags of righteousness and just surrender. Most of the time, the harder we push or force the more resistance we receive.
The divine Celtic Goddess Oonagh (pronounced OO-nuh) comes to us to remind us that that there is competition for our true life’s purpose. There is no need to rush or force things to happen. “Surrender more than trying – will get your spirits flying”, is one of my favourite lines in a song. It is true!
